In March 2017, the students at Canyon Springs High School (Moreno Valley, CA) held an "Advocacy in Action Day" to promote the health issues they championed over the six month program. The students shared their brilliant and powerful voices through posters, videos, PowerPoints, and art work. The fun-filled event was attended by their fellow classmates and students, teachers, local community leaders, resident and attending physicians, and local news media. In addition, this event served as the catalyst for the development of the RUHS Community Health Fair.
